Dr. Almansouri is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Deputy Medical Director of the Imperial College London Diabetes Center in the UAE.

She received the UAE Presidential Scholarship to the U.S., and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Neurobiology and Psychology, graduating Cum Laude in Psychology.

She subsequently graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. in 2004 becoming the first female non- American to graduate from the medical school. She completed a 3 year residency in Internal Medicine at the George Washington University Hospital, as well as a 2 year fellowship in Endocrinology at the George Washington University Hospital. She is certified in ultrasound guided thyroid biopsies as well as a variety of line access placements via ultrasound. She then returned to the UAE to continue her medical career.
