Dr. Gregory J Schears, MD is a Consultant of Department of Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Schears is the founder of Lumen-Vue, which uses nIR for determining catheter tip location. He is an acknowledged thought leader in vascular access in the international medical community. He has consulted with Luminetx and is an experienced user of ultrasound for vascular access. He agreed to chair INRIS' Medical Advisory Board after using the VascularViewer in clinical settings.
